This ministry was formed at St. Anthony Church in order to foster a culture of life and engage parishioners in life-affirming activities. This ministry helps to educate parishioners on the issues of abortion and the sanctity of life and organizes political efforts to support life.
As Catholics, we believe that human life is a precious gift from God and that we must protect and nurture human life at every stage of its existence. If you would like to join our committee, please contact Trudy at: 203-305-4972 or [email protected]
40 Days for Life: Fall 2022
Each year the Respect Life Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford coordinates participation in the 40 Days for Life campaign which aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of an abortion facility. The 40 Days for Life campaign this year begins on September 28 and ends on November 6, 2022. This is a wonderful opportunity to stand witness to our faith and send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion. Please give serious consideration to joining us!!
