Michelle Mikelskas

When Micki Mikelskas was young she always wanted to be an Altar Server, unfortunately this was before girls were permitted to serve. When the opportunity came up for her to become an Adult Altar Server at St. Anthony’s Church she jumped at the chance. “Serving at God’s Altar is such a privilege to me”, Micki says “it is such an honor to assist at the Celebration at the Mass”
Micki first joined the parish of St. Anthony in 1996, and after attending a three year Bible Study Program sponsored by the Archdiocese, she knew she wanted to get more involved with the Church. She first joined the Baptismal Preparation Ministry and then soon after became a Catechist for Faith Formation. She later joined the Funeral Mass/Lazarus Ministry and is still helping parishioners plan for the funeral of a loved one. Micki has expanded her ministry here at St. Anthony as a Sacristan helping to prepare for the Mass on weekdays and weekends and as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
Thank you Micki for everything you do for our Church and our parish.
