Thank you to the St. Anthony Ladies Guild who have contributed $8,000 toward the purchase of 50 new tables for the church hall. Total cost is $21,000. Our current tables have been breaking and are outside of their warranty period. The new ones will arrive in the next month or so. The Ladies Guild’s major fundraiser is their Christmas Bazaar. Thank you to their dedicated members and to everyone who supports their good works!
Thank you to the Knights of Columbus who have donated $500.00 to the parish picnic, which will be held on June 8th. The Knights are always ready to lend a hand at events and we appreciate their monetary support of our parish picnic.
Also, thanks to those who showed up to mulch on Saturday, May 27th. In total, we had about 10 parishioners and about 20 scouts and leaders. Approximately 30 yards of mulch was moved and spread on the property, and in record time! We allotted 4 hours for the task and we were mostly finished in under 2 hours! Our grounds look wonderful - just in time for our First Communion on May 11th and for the Archbishop’s visit on June 8th!
