Saint Joseph Medal Recipients

A St. Joseph Archdiocesan Medal of Appreciation will be presented to Carol and Martin Muzzey by Archbishop Blair at a special ceremony on March 19, 2023.

The awards are a means of recognizing the dedicated laity of the parishes in the Archdiocese of Hartford. It is given to members of a parish who are nominated by their pastor. Recipients must be at least 50 years of age.

Carol and Marty have been members of the Parish of St. Anthony for over 27 years. The both give generously of their time and talents in a number of parish ministries.

Carol has served as President of the Ladies Guild and has also been Co-chair of the Fundraising Committee. She has also volunteered for Bingo and the Wedding Preparation Ministry.

Marty has also served in the Wedding Preparation ministry as well as Baptismal Preparation and the Usher Ministry. He is a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus and has volunteered at Bingo. Most recently Marty helped bring the idea of a Chapel to fruition.

We thank Carol and Marty for their commitment to our Church and our parish and congratulate them on receiving the St. Joseph Medal.
