Blessing Bags

In your travels, do you regularly see homeless people requesting assistance?  Consider keeping snack bars or even a “Blessing Bag” in your car and ask if they might like one.  A Blessing Bag can be filled with healthy snacks, fruit cups, beef jerky, gum or mints, and even some personal care items or socks.

In these situations, it can be difficult to know the best way to help.  We can rely on the organizations that support the homeless, by supporting them monetarily.  “For I was hungry and you gave me food” (Mt 25:35).

This is also a great idea, tx. Fyi at holiday time in November annually, Mr. Tony Osso of Norwood has his nonprofit organization Just Love collect all sorts of similar items and or filled backpacks which they have 5 specific areas the members help him go out and deliver them. It’s a good thing to do in Advent✝️
