Anthony Ingala

Part Time Custodian

Anthony Ingala, a St Anthony parishioner “forever”, found his new part-time job while reading the Bulletin.

Tony is currently our new part-time custodian mainly taking care of the parish center. Formerly a meat manager at Stop and Shop, Tony has since retired and was looking for something to do with his free time when this position came along.

Tony, also a Prospect resident, has been married 40 years to his lovely wife, Maryann. Together they raised 2 daughters, who are now both married, and, in addition, they have 2 grandchildren.

Definitely a family man, it follows suit that Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday since it is focused on spending time with those he loves. It is also no surprise that his favorite day at church is the feast of St Anthony when the special bread is blessed and distributed. Finding inspiration in church hymns, his favorites are: “Here I am Lord”, “Be Not Afraid” and “How Great Thou Art” which he walked his daughter down the aisle to at her wedding.

In his free time, Tony enjoys playing cards and watching sports, and living “One day at a time”, his favorite quote.
