Volunteer Spotlight – Martha Nolan
Whenever we get together to decorate the Church for Christmas or Easter you will find Martha Nolan cheerfully lending a hand. Her favorite season is Christmas and Martha enjoys putting up the Christmas trees in the Church sanctuary and decorating them with lights and stars.
Martha has been a member of our parish since 1997. She was an altar server for two years and helped out as an assistant in the Faith Formation ministry for three years. She has been a member of the Seasonal Decorating Ministry for many years now.
During the week Martha works at WARC in Waterbury. Martha is also a member of the Waterbury Veterans Memorial Committee. During her free time she enjoys going out to lunch and she is an accomplished bowler. She has also participated in the Connecticut Special Olympics for many years. Martha is also a Gold Star sister having lost her brother, Joe, in combat in Iraq.
Martha celebrated her 42nd birthday on February 4. Happy Birthday Martha and thank you for all you do for our parish!
