Confirmation
Laying on of hands and anointing with Chrism (sacred oil) while saying, “Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Confirmation is one of the ensemble of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Church, together with Baptism and Eucharist. Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or ”confirm” the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church. CCC 1285
At St. Anthony Church, Confirmation is held each Spring for the students completing their requirements in our religious education program as well as adults who have completed adult classes.
For more information, please call the Religious Education office at 758-4848 ext 14.
If you are an adult seeking Confirmation, please call the Parish Center at 758-4056 ext 10 or see Deacon Domenic.
